Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with the minced garlic, oregano, thyme, basil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Optional Add-Ins: Stir in balsamic vinegar for a tangy twist, and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top for extra richness.
  3. Serve: Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve in a shallow dish alongside warm, crusty bread.

Use: Perfect for dipping fresh bread, such as baguettes or ciabatta.
